Current Projects
We are currently working with NS Trials on developing a Centralized Database for trails, and trail assets, including bridges and culverts, throughout the province of Nova Scotia. We also contract with Port Hawkesbury Paper collecting GPS data for Harvest Block Layout and Pre Commercial Thinning operations. Another Client, Wayne Chisholm Forestry has us collecting drone imagery and creating Orthomosaic for providing post harvest mapping to his clients, click examples below for more info.

Quality control is a major part of what we do in GIS and to ensure our QC and QA procedures are top-notch, we use python scripting language before and after to ensure we pick up any inconsistencies that may have been missed due to human error.

Data Creation
Need contours for a topological map or perhaps you need to want to see if a trail system will fit on your property. Create steams, water networks, and watershed with custom tools to fit your needs.
Map Creation
Build maps for websites, tourist pamphlets, trails, wildlife areas, parks, and more. Have data you need on a map with a specific theme? We can do that.
Cartographic Editing
Have a ton of labels that needs editing, stream labels to be splined, contours to show elevation. We get rid of all the duplicates and make sure your maps look clean and professional.
Data Collection
Asset management is a powerful way to keep track of your inventory location, condition, features, etc. If you have assets in the field or in the public and want to keep track of the condition, location, or have that asset location on a map then consider a data collection project.
Forest Harvest Plan
We collect GPS data and ribbon off harvest boundary's that adhere to government regulations around protected areas, wildlife habitats, watercourses and more.
